As Integrative Nutrition Health Coaches, we will be your guide and mentor that empowers you and provides ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness. We create a supportive environment that enables you to express and achieve your goals.
Our education has equipped us with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention. Drawing on our expertise, we work with our clients to help make lifestyle changes and choose health promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health, and happiness.
Each session will leave you feeling inspired and motivated. We will talk about things beyond food, seeking to bring balance to important elements of your life, such as love, relationships, career and money.
We will personally and carefully guide you to make simple, small changes that transform your life.
Most approaches to healthy eating dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, we coach our clients to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together. As these pieces accumulate, our clients find these changes collectively creating a much larger impact than they originally anticipated. We work on what they want to improve within the circumstances of their unique situation.
We practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that we look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship(s) cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.
We work with our clients to get in touch with their body’s needs because we understand that life happens and your needs will change. We want to equip you with self-awareness to make the best decisions for yourself in any given circumstances. We believe each person is fully capable of making well-informed decisions as their own expert, not the latest magazine article or fad diet.
Let’s define what you value most from your well-being. We’ll use these visions to motivate specific goals that bring you closer to where you want to be. As your coach, we will not dictate a diet for you, but together we will explore why some foods make you feel better than others and how to strategically use that feedback. Together we’ll co-create your health goals within reasonable time frames and actionable objectives so you know exactly what you’re working towards.
Alena is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and a Registered Yoga Instructor (200 RYT). Alena grew up playing sports and being active. Both a high school and college athlete, Alena loved all things athletic. After college, running was her go to sport. During this time, Alena became interested in cooking and preparing healthy meals to compliment her active lifestyle. Alena’s interest in cooking inspired her to learn how food nourishes and heals the body.
As Alena got older, she still enjoyed movement, but was looking for more balance in her life. This is when yoga found her. The physical and mental work practiced in yoga allows Alena to see that health is more than physical exercise, but includes many other aspects that make us whole.
Alena values the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance in her own life, and she guides and supports others in their journey to find the same.
Jon is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and a Registered Yoga Instructor (200 RYT). After 15 years of working in corporate America, Jon was feeling stuck and unfulfilled. His diet, exercise, and sleep were all suffering, as well as his overall physical and emotional health and well-being. Believing and trusting that there was so much more for him in this life, he left that career to follow his heart. He went on a journey of self-discovery and improvement, completing his health coaching and yoga instructor certifications along the way. He finally found his passion and purpose in life – to help and support others on their own journey to health, happiness, and wellness.
