Our mission at Living Wellness and Yoga is to bring holistic health and wellness to our community and beyond. Holistic health practices consider the whole person – body, mind, heart, spirit, and emotions. Our primary goal is to help you find balance in your life, becoming your happiest and healthiest self. We are here to listen, support, and guide you on your health and wellness journey through coaching, yoga, exercise, nutrition and mindfulness practices. We do not promote any products or supplements. We believe in the healing power of the mind, body, breath, water, whole foods, movement, gratitude, and self compassion.

Although the Medina IY Studio has been closed, Alena is now teaching a Saturday morning Flow Yoga Class at the beautiful School House Wellness Center (241 Garden Street) in Lockport from 8-9am.
We are also collaborating to lead a monthly yoga class (all-levels) at Live Edge Brewing (2100 Coomer Rd, Burt, NY) throughout the summer!
We teach many classes & workshops at the Lockport Family YMCA.
We will also be participating in the Fitness in the Parks program (collaboration with Independent Health & Buffalo-Niagara YMCA) for the summer (Memorial Day – Labor Day). These classes are all FREE!
*Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm @ Day Road Park – Beginner’s Qigong Class (Jon)
*Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm @ Day Road Park – All-Levels Yoga Class (Jon)

Alena coaches throughout each pose giving you body positions and several options if one doesn’t feel right for your body. Her gentle demeanor and no judgment guidance leads you through each practice so that at the end your body feels like you’ve had a massage!! The stretching flows are so well balanced she doesn’t rush through anything. Another major bonus for me as a high energy person, are the breathing exercises throughout the practice. They help settle and ground this ADHD prone spirit. When the pandemic hit Alena and Jon started their online membership. The best thing that came with being a subscriber was now I could join Alena and Jon more often and conveniently on my own schedule! The charge to belong is so reasonable considering I’ve doubled the number of practices that I do. Thank you Alena and Jon and Living Wellness and Yoga for keeping my mental physical and emotional well-being nurtured”.
